Act Fast FE offers a unique service to Local Authorities across the Humber region, South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.

Our Mission
We are providing a great further education for young people and help them prepare for a life in work. As part of our continuous improvement within the school, we can now offer great quality education and realistic job like training for young people who might not be suited to mainstream colleges, sixth forms or apprenticeships.

The motor vehicle courses are delivered around the platform of motorcycles. Our college is set in twenty acres and boasts its own motocross track and machines which students can use.

How we can help
As an independent post 16 specialist college Act fast FE has been able to design a fully integrated curriculum which negates many of the barriers that have faced students in the past. With an ethos of mutual respect and an understanding of the challenges some students face we can help to develop the interpersonal skills that will see them into the world of work.
However, we have highly experienced and qualified subject specialist staff that can deliver maths, and English to A level if required. The college is an accredited exam centre and academic subjects are delivered with in a bespoke package to engage and empower the learner.

Links between schools and Act Fast FE
We recognise that transitions for young people are demanding. We offer an opportunity to engage with the learners early in their planning for progression. We would ask that if you are interested in the college give us a call or email us and we will endeavour to prepare a bespoke package early.

Act Fast FE can offer space for students whom are lost in larger establishments. We can offer space for individual development and for the learner to grow into their potential under the tutelage of experienced professionals. Learning is tailored to the student.

The concept of a fully embedded curriculum s a cornerstone of the Act Fast FE offer. Learners learn in a realistic work environment with Supported Interns taking placement opportunities in carefully selected workplaces.

A strong quality assurance framework and a cross provider partnership provides a strong level of confidence in the assessment regime the centre uses. Senior leaders at the college have experience in regulation and improvement of schools and colleges. The robust nature of this experience drives standards at Act Fast FE.

Who can benefit from Act Fast FE
Young people with Education Health and Care Plans, particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental health issues.
Learners whom are likely to need the added support that an Education Health and Care Plan will offer them in the future.
Learners who have been excluded from mainstream FE College provision
Students whom are unlikely to be able to integrate in the large and anonymous colleges.
