Sport & Physical Education
Intent, Implementation & Impact
Intent
At Act Fast NL, we recognise the importance of Sport and Physical Education (P.E) and the role it has to play in promoting long-term, healthy lifestyles and making a positive impact on physical, mental health. The intent of our PE curriculum is to provide all students with high quality Sport and P.E provision, not only as a participant but in leadership roles such as coach or choreographer. It is our vision for every child to succeed and achieve their potential as well as lead physical active lifestyles beyond school life. We strive to inspire our students through fun and engaging P.E lessons that are enjoyable, challenging, and accessible to all. Through our teaching of P.E, we will instil our core values and transferable skills such as resilience and respect as well as providing them with opportunities to take part in competitive sports through our staff verses students competitions and extra-curricular programmes.
