Parent/Carer testimonial
My son has attended Act Fast for just under a year and I couldn’t be happier with the transformation in him. He now feels like the school is part of him and he is valued by them rather than just a number. He has joined the school council and this has given him the confidence to have his say without the need for confrontation. His newfound ability to discuss things amicably has transferred to home life where confrontation has been vastly reduced, improving our relationship within the family dynamics. My son has more confidence in his own ability now and I look forward to the progress he will make whilst there.

Is your child a young carer?
A young carer is a young person who looks after someone who couldn't manage without their help. This could mean looking after a parent, a sibling or another family member living in the same household with a disability, long term illness, mental health issues or drug & alcohol related issues.
It could also mean living with the emotional impact of a sudden health event within the family, or a terminal diagnosis.
